Keyring USB-C Cable and Phone Lanyard
The cable you never forget.

DESCRIPTION

The X Key Chain is a short braided USB-C to USB-C cable that lives on your keys. Clip it to the ring you already carry and the cable that is always with you is the one that actually gets used.

Unscrew the satin nickel cap and the loop opens into a single 30 cm cable with USB-C at both ends. Phone to power bank, iPad to charger, MacBook to the wall socket: it works with the USB-C charger already on your desk, with fast charging up to 100 W and 480 Mbps data for a quick sync.

It is made like hardware, not wire. Satin nickel plug housings with a knurled grip ring, a screw-on cap engraved XtremeMac that protects both plugs, and a sprung carabiner that clips to a keyring, a zip pull or a belt loop. Black braided cord with a reflective white weave.

Thirty centimetres is the point. Long enough to reach from the charger on the desk to the laptop, or to sit a power bank beside the phone, short enough to disappear on a keyring.

It is a phone lanyard too. Clip the carabiner through the lanyard tab of your case and the loop goes over your wrist: the phone hangs from your hand on the platform, sits in your palm on the train, and never hits the floor. Unscrew the cap and it is the charging cable again.

It lives on your keys.

Clipped alongside the house keys, so it leaves the house whenever you do. No drawer to search, no bag to empty, no forgotten cable.

X Key Chain worn as a wrist lanyard, the phone hanging from the braided loop on a city street

Clip it to your case. Wear it.

The sprung carabiner hooks through the lanyard tab of any phone case that has one. Slip the 14 cm loop over your wrist and the phone hangs from your hand instead of your grip: on the platform, out of the pocket, through the gate. Still a 100 W cable when the battery runs low.

X Key Chain opened out and connecting a power bank to a phone on a cafe table

Phone to power bank. No spaghetti.

Thirty centimetres is exactly enough to sit a power bank beside your phone on a cafe table and top up while you finish your coffee.

X Key Chain connecting a laptop to the XtremeMac 65W charger in a wall socket, cap and keys lying beside it

USB-C at both ends. 100 W when it counts.

Enough for a MacBook, not just a phone, and it works with the USB-C charger already on your desk. Unscrew the cap, plug in, done.

Made like hardware, not wire.

Satin nickel plug housings, knurled grip rings and a screw-on cap that guards both plugs. It feels like a tool, not a giveaway.

COMPATIBILITY

Any USB-C device: iPhone 15 and later, iPad, MacBook, Android phones, power banks and USB-C chargers.

Designed in Luxembourg.

Frequently Asked Questions: X Key Chain

Can it charge a MacBook?

Yes. The cable carries USB Power Delivery, so plugged into a USB-C charger or power bank with enough output it charges a MacBook Air or MacBook Pro, not only a phone.

Does it transfer data?

Yes, at USB 2.0 speed (480 Mbps), enough for a quick photo sync or a backup.

Is 30 cm really long enough?

That is the idea. It reaches from the charger on the desk to the laptop, sits a power bank beside your phone, or links a phone to a laptop, without a loop of cable in the way. For a bedside or a long reach, use the X-Magnet 2 m cable.

How does it attach to my keys?

The screw-on cap carries a sprung carabiner. Clip it to a keyring, a zip pull or a belt loop. Unscrew the cap and both USB-C plugs are free to use.

Can I use it as a phone lanyard?

Yes. Clip the carabiner through the lanyard tab of your case (any case with a tab, including most MagSafe cases) and slip the loop over your wrist. Closed, the loop hangs about 14 cm. Unscrew the cap and it is the charging cable again.
