How to disable the XtremeMac X-Tag Dual

Disable the finder

If you find an XtremeMac X-Tag Dual that you do not recognize, you can disable it by following the steps below.

Steps:

  1. Locate the button on the X-Tag Dual.

  2. Press and hold the button for five seconds.

  3. Two beeps will sound.

Once disabled:

  • The finder stops sharing its location

  • It can no longer be tracked

  • It will not reconnect to any network

Important information

  • Disabling the finder will immediately stop all location sharing.

  • This function is intended for privacy and personal safety.

  • If you believe a tracker is following you without your permission, disabling it will prevent further tracking.
